Joel Yennior, Trombone

Trombonist Joel Yennior grew up in South Orange, NJ, and studied at the University of Miami, later earning his Masters Degree from the New England Conservatory in Boston. Since joining the Either/Orchestra in 1998, Joel has recorded four albums and toured the USA, Africa, and Europe with the group.  He has also performed with Ran Blake, Bevan Manson, John McNeil, the Spinners, Robert Goulet, and the Miami Symphony Orchestra. Joel's trombone playing is featured on recent recordings by the jazz quartet, Gypsy Schaeffer (PeaceTime Records), the Felipe Salles Group (Fresh Sound Records), and the Alejandro Cimadoro Quintet (featuring saxophonist George Garzone and drummer Antonio Sanchez).  Joel currently serves on the faculty of the New England Conservatory Extension Division.
